February Service Project: The Pulsera Project
Are you ready for our February Service Project? The Pulsera Project is coming back! Over the last few years, dragons at Flagstaff have had the opportunity to participate in a unique service learning project that helps provide artisans in Nicaragua and Guatemala money for education, housing, medical treatment, and regular salaries. This year pulseras and bolsitas will be on sale during lunches from February 17-21 and at the Festival of Cultures. Pulseras will be $5 a piece and Bolsitas will be $15. Each one is handmade and the money goes back to the artisan to help out with their specific needs. We get to color our world with awesome one-of-a-kind bracelets while we help the people in Nicaragua meet some of their basic needs. Flagstaff has raised over $8,000.
