Flagstaff Academy Charter School is proud to announce that it has been honored with the People's Choice Award by the Longmont Chamber of Commerce. The Longmont Chamber Business Awards, celebrated as the apex of local business excellence, bestowed this esteemed accolade upon Flagstaff Academy during the Longmont Chamber Jubilee held last night.

Flagstaff Academy Alumnus Sofiya Ivanovna was a guest speaker in Ms. Moskoff's 6th grade language class today. She read from her published poetry book, Hindsight, and then assisted students with their own poetry revisions. Thank you, Sofiya!

Many Flagstaff Alumni are members of the Up-a-Creek team including: Mark and Olga Rohlenko, JC Curd, Andrew and Alex Fong, Rowan Nechvatal, Asher Behmer, Cooper Hixon, Katie Greve, James O'Hara, Georgia Franks, Jack Steinke, Marie Ciminski, Mya Blair, Sophia Giagiari, Violet Oliver, Oliver Neves, Aidan Jiang, Haiden Morrison. This team did not lose a single match all weekend and also took the General Motors Industrial Design Award. So glad to see our alumni continuing their love of science in high school and beyond.

Flagstaff Academy had three teams compete at the Destination Imagination State tournament last weekend. The Flaming Squirrels team placed 2nd in the scientific division, The Super Rubber Duckies of Destruction team placed 3rd in the service learning division, and The Golden Seekers team placed 9th in the technical division. Thank you to Flagstaff coaches Ms. Benz and Ms. Godwin.

Flagstaff Academy’s middle school is once again being recognized as a Colorado Trailblazer Schools to Watch by The Colorado Association of Middle Level Education (CAMLE).

This morning, representatives from the Colorado Association of Middle Level Education presented Flagstaff Academy with their Colorado Trailblazer School to Watch banner. Flagstaff is only one of four Colorado schools to receive this honor, and the only charter school in the state to hold the School to Watch designation.
