Melinda Steadman, Lead Preschool Teacher

Hello! Thank you for stopping by to learn more about me! I am a Colorado native, growing up in Parker, and living now in Firestone. I am also a proud Flagstaff Academy parent with three children, one of whom still attends the school. Since I can remember, I have always loved children, and wanted to surround myself with their endless excitement and wonder! Some of my other loves include science and exploration, plants, campfires, thunderstorms, Jelly Bellys, and Disneyland!

I have enjoyed working with children of all ages since my first job at a daycare center in high school. After being a stay at home mom for ten years, I found my way back to early childhood education as a Preschool teacher for six years, an Assistant Manager of the children’s department at a large health club facility, and finally as a paraprofessional for Flagstaff Academy. I am beyond excited to work here, and love being able to experience all that Flagstaff has to offer!
