Shawnette Thomas, Paraprofessional

I am a Colorado native who came back in 2011 after living in Kentucky for ten years. My background is in early childhood and I have completed more than 30 hours of PDIS level 1-3 classes in the last four years. In the near future I plan on earning my assistant preschool teacher credentials. I have seven years' experience working in a preschool with children aged three to six, mainly focusing on KReady class to prepare students for kindergarten.

 

When my two kids were young I was a scout leader, classroom assistant, and frequent volunteer and came to really love working in a school setting. I live in Longmont with my husband, two children, and our cat Maggie. I love to travel, read, spend time with family and friends, and paddleboard. I am very excited to be a part of the Flagstaff family!
