Mrs. Salgado, Middle School Assistant Principal

I am very excited to continue my teaching journey with the Dragon Family at Flagstaff Academy. It truly is a team and I love being part of it. Previously, I taught Middle School Physical Education in the Durango 9R and Adams 12 School Districts. Additionally, I worked in the St. Vrain Valley School District as an Adapted Physical Education interventionist.  I have an Exercise Science degree from Fort Lewis College and Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I love being part of a school culture and have come to learn each fall I can't wait for school to kick back up. I really enjoy working with children in the classroom, in the gym, and in extracurriculars. Outside of school my beautiful family is my life. I have an amazing husband and two children. I enjoy all my time with them and rooting on my favorite local sports teams!
