Welcome to Student Support

At Flagstaff Academy we use a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) model to achieve academic excellence by design for all students. This includes a system of teamwork and shared responsibility to identify student needs, and to meet those needs with varying levels of instructional intensity and interventions.  

 

The school’s administrators, counselors, intervention team, and special education department play an active role on the Student Support Team, partnering with parents to problem solve and determine steps forward for individual students. We then work closely with students throughout the school that need more intensive supports, providing targeted instruction and interventions, continuously monitoring for effectiveness and growth.
